Wow! This book surprised me on so many levels. I few people told me I needed to read this story. And once I started reading I knew why. The detail and thought Author C.J. Anaya put into each and every one of her characters was fantastic. If you haven't noticed by now I need that strong emotional bond between the characters and myself.

The way C.J. describes Hope communicating with peoples life forces in such detail had me picturing myself right alongside her a few times. You could tell she wanted her readers to be captivated by Hope’s unique ability. I also loved the history she brought into the story. All three leads have a fascinating backgrounds.

Hope Fairmont is just your average high school senior with a huge secret. She can heal someone by speaking to their life force. Hope has never thought that her gift was a hindrance. On more than one occasion this strong willed girl almost gets caught trying to save an innocent life. She just had no idea how much she needed saving.

Victor shows up to town looking for Hope. He is instantly drawn to her but she has no idea why he would be interested in her. Hope has no idea that Victor has been searching for her. This man absolutely gorgeous with his jet black hair, he’s built like a gladiator, and personality that would have any woman swooning.

Tie shows up at the same time Victor does. Tie pushes Victor and Hope’s buttons. His icy ice blue eyes are always calculated and judging. He doesn’t really ever let anyone near him. He is the king of suave and always has girls falling all over him. Except for Hope, she throws Tie off of his game. And I loved how she would throw him for a loop. He would recover fast but not before she would notice. Every time he thinks he has her figured out he realizes he doesn’t.

There is so much to this story I cannot mention without giving something away! Just know I adored it and you will too!

C. J. Anaya began writing short stories for family and friends when she was thirteen years old. This soon morphed into an extensive project every year during Christmas as a way to create a fun and inexpensive Christmas gift.
