Dex Harris, Drummer for America's Hottest Alternative Rock Band 69 Bottles, has never gone looking for love—for good reason. After an ill-fated night after a tour stop in Phoenix, his wicked demons resurface. Is he strong enough to resist falling back into the black hole that was once his life or will he let addiction consume him?
Raine Montgomery has worked for Bold International, Inc since she moved to California at eighteen. She’s fought her way into the executive offices as an assistant to CEO Cami Michaels, but being an assistant isn't what she imagines doing for the rest of her life—so when Cami sends her to assist with the 69 Bottles tour, she jumps at the opportunity.
There’s only one kink in that plan—and his name is Dex Harris.
Raine doesn’t expect to be on the radar of the sexy manwhore drummer, let alone the center of his sights. Shattered from a long-term relationship with a cheater, Raine is determined to make Dex prove himself.
Will Dex toss away his one-night stands in favor of sleeping every night with only one woman—or is Raine simply his latest conquest?
A Rock Band. A Tour Bus. One Wild Ride....

I LOVED the first three books in the 69 bottles series….LOVED them! Dex was always right there in the mix of things and I remember thinking in the third book how different I thought he really was to how he portrayed himself. That was proven in this book.

Raine was also in those books, but truthfully, I don’t really remember her very much. I know she came in to help Addie out and that she proved herself valuable.

I wasn’t sure that their relationship was anything concrete. I didn’t think they had a real shot. Two broken people like them could never make it work, right? WRONG!!!

The sexual tension was so strong between them that I could hardly wait till the next time they were in the same room. I felt like they were just destined to be together, even when Raine was so sure he didn’t want her. This quote was the first real sign that he did in fact want her, but he wasn’t sure he deserved her:

“When I **** look at you, nothing matters. Nothing else exists but you. I froze because I realized that something as precious and beautiful as you are deserves far better than I can give you. I’m a manwhore, I’ve been a manwhore and I will always be a manwhore and you deserve much better than that.”

Both characters had a lot to overcome in this book and I am very confident that they aren’t done messing with each other just yet. I loved the back and forth points of view and I liked learning more about Dex and why he has behaved the way he has. I didn’t remember everything about his past and was glad to relearn about him. I can’t wait to see where the rest of their relationship goes in the next book.

I look at her and chuckle lightly and go back to enjoying the show on the stage in front of me. Addison gets hooked up to her mic for the second time and I escape back behind the stage to the other side because I know Dex will come off stage shortly and I want to be there when he does. They finish up the song and my heart starts to flutter. Dex makes eye contact with me. His steel grey eyes penetrate me and cause me to shiver and my already heated sex to fire up. The little ball of nerves is on fire as he narrows his eyes at me. He’s on a rampage, but he’s not angry. He charges off of the stage first and Addison giggles as she passes him. Excitement, terror and pure lust course hotly through my veins. I back up toward the wall, trying to put some distance between us before he crushes me. But I have no outlet, nowhere to go. Fuck, he knows this. I put my hands up in self-defense, but he smirks. Grabbing my wrists, he spreads my arms wide and then over my head, pinning me to the wall. His lips crash hard onto mine. He smells like Dex, heady and sweaty, but it’s fucking sexy as hell. He steals my breath away the moment his tongue slides inside, seeking mine. He abruptly pulls back, he is breathing heavy. “You.” Kiss. “Made.” Kiss. “Me.” Kiss. “Pop my stick.” Lick across my lips. “You made me lose my place.” He kisses me again. “You made me screw up.” I give him a wicked chuckle. “You naughty girl.” “Think about what you just said.” I’m still laughing. “Well, that is how fucking gorgeous you look tonight.” “Shut up,” I tell him. He pulls back. “Shut up and fucking kiss me, you idiot.” He smiles wider than I’ve ever seen him smile before and he presses his lips and sweaty body against mine and I’m completely and totally lost in his kiss. His lips, his tongue, his body pressed against me. His knee slides between my legs and I writhe against him and he groans. After a few more beats, he breaks the kiss. “We need to talk,” he whispers. “Yeah, we do.” “Stay?” “Yes,” I breathe. “Promise?” “I promise.” He slowly lets me go, like he knew I was going to be unsteady on my feet and he doesn’t want me to fall. Once I’m situated, he goes and grabs three bottles of water. He tucks one under his arm, then hands me one. I smile as we both open our bottles. He downs his in two swallows and immediately goes for the other one and downs that one equally as fast. I take a big pull off of mine and hand it over to him. He smirks, takes it and drinks it. “Gotta go,” he breathes. “Get back on the other side of the stage,” he says as a command. ‘Yes, sir.” He scowls at me, but then smiles and goes back on stage.

Holy HOTNESS!!! I can't say that I started this book having any idea of where it was going, but I can say that it was very, very hot!!!

Zoey does a wonderful job of putting the reader right into the story from the very first page. Yes, there were parts that seemed highly unlikely, but then I thought about it and remembered it's fiction. It's written to enjoy not to tear apart!

Addison, Kyle and Talon made me wish I had two guys in my life. THough they are all still harbouring huge secrets from each other, they really do have a wonderful relationship...especially in the bedroom!

Addison is a PR Rep for a major firm and has just been assigned a 12 week tour with the up and coming band 69 Bottles. Kyle is the band's manager and best friend of Talon, the lead singer. Of course, Addison's first impression of the band is the typical rock and roll stereotype -- sex, drugs and music. For one band member that plays true, but for the others, life isn't that simple.

I enjoyed getting to know all of the guys in this book and the relationship between the three main characters developed and changed thru the book. I think it's hard to imagine Addison so willingly accepting Kyle after their history, but I love that they are all together and enjoy their time with and without each other.

If I had any advice for this author, I would say that I would love to hear from the guys more. I love dual POVs and I know that there is some here and there, but I'd love to have more!

Zoey totally did it again. This book is maybe even more amazing than Claiming Addison. The sex scenes are super HOT and the depth of the relationship between Kyle, Talon and Addison really soars in this book.

There was one time when I almost gagged during a scene and then there was the time I had to have my husband immediately because the book was so sexy. I went thru many emotions while reading. I cried a couple of times at the honesty one of the characters would share with the others. I was glad to see Kyle and Addie really talk about her relationship with Dan (Kyle's brother) and how it did/didn't affect her feelings for Kyle. I laughed at Dex's antics more than once. I also fell in love with Eric (Peacock) and really, really hope that Zoey will give us a book all about him one day very soon!!!

I also loved how much Kyle shared in this book. He felt like more of the equation this time than he did in the last one. This quote from him to Addison about taking their threesome public gave me so much hope for all three of them:

"Baby girl, it doesn't matter to me what people think about the three of us, who they think you're with, or what they think they know. I know the truth and that is more than enough for me."

I can't wait to read Redeeming Kyle and see how these three continue this wonderful, amazing, heart capturing relationship.

One of the concerns I have is that I don't think I ever discovered Kyle's bad news from the end of Claiming Addison. He made mention of how he was just going to enjoy his boy/girlfriends and not worry about the bad news he heard. Was it his mom's attitude? That's the only real negative part that he shared with anyone in this novel.

This book was a great wrap up for Addison, Kyle and Talon. The relationship that we have watched develop in the last two books has some more hills to climb, but in the end the three of them are stronger than the crap life throws at them.

I hate when a series I love comes to an end, but Ms Derrick did a wonderful job with this one. She was able to keep the suspense and characters in the air just enough to make me keep turning the page, and yet the writing was still as amazing as the other two.

This story (unlike the others) is told a lot more from Addison’s POV than the guys’. Early, very early, in the novel they are laying together and Addison shares her thoughts on their less than conventional relationship:

We don’t move, staying like this for some time. We hold on to each other and it’s pure bliss. I nearly forget what we’re facing right now. what Kyle said, about us being a triad, a threesome, and how no matter what, no matter whom, it doesn’t matter.

Their crazy world is definitely in for a little turbulence in this novel, but the three of them have such amazing ways of dealing with each other and life that I was confident it would all come out okay. AND the fact that the other band members got a little more attention and discussion in this book really made me happy, too. Eric (Peacock) is my favorite side character of the year so far. I wish he would have his own book!!!

The banter continues for a little while longer and my heart swells with pride that these guys are family, my family, our family, and regardless of the fact that we’ve only been together a few short weeks, the band thinks that our news is amazing. No one asks who the dad is; they all just congratulate Kyle and Talon together.

It was true that in this book more than the others, all of 69 Bottles came together and was a family. I was happy for Addison because before this she really just had her mom, but now she has a giant support system and life is really looking great for her.

I loved the way Ms. Derrick ended the book. I can’t share the entire paragraph because it has spoilers, but the last line if perfect. It really sums up everything for Addison, Talon & Kyle.

A girl who never thought she deserved to love again, to be loved, is the most loved woman in the world.

I am so glad I got to read this series and so happy to know that these characters all have more in their lives than they ever expected.
