Author Audrey Carlan filled this month’s book with so much goodness. She let us see a peek into Mia’s life back home. I just loved seeing Mia go all mommabear with her baby sister Maddy. Letting her know that anytime she needed anything she just needed to ask. I also loved seeing Mia’s sweet and vulnerable side with her dad. It had me all sniffly. I cannot wait for him to wake up.
I also loved how she handled her ex the loan shark. Her snarky attitude was perfect. When she threatened him, I snorted. GO MIA!
Now let’s get into the men she met this month. When she arrived in Chicago, I was rolling at her description of Hector and Anthony. I was waiting for something along the lines of “I wanna climb them both like a tree.” They both sounded so stinking dreamy, I was drooling. Hello, Papi!
Mia’s stay in Chicago this month showed us her sweet and supportive side. She would do anything humanly possible to help Hector and Anthony ‘Tony’ out. The bond she developed with them was fantastic. I loved watching her with them. She thrived on the love these two had for each other. You can tell Mia wants that in her own life. I hope that we get to see a few text or calls from them in the future.
Mia opened Tony’s eyes up to what should be possible and let him know that there was support all around him if he would just choose to see it. I loved watching this relationship blossom. The love of Tony’s family was absolutely fantastic.
Now let’s talk about Mr. Wes! Holy Hotness! Just so everyone knows I am rooting for this man! His calls and texts her absolutely perfect. Mia wasn't the only one drooling. I will not get too much away about Wes. Just know that I loved what all happened this month between them in this months installment.
Next month’s installment has me excited and a little nervous for my man Wes. Audrey loves keeping us on our toes with Mia’s adventures.
