This is the first in this series that I have listened to (or read for that matter) and though I was a little confused in the beginning I did manage to catch up with everyone (for the most part) and follow the story pretty well.
Sometimes the change in narration wasn’t quite enough to really know whose POV we were listening to. I felt like both Riley and Jack were good guys with a lot to admire about them, but on some level they also seemed kind of lame.
BUT then they were meeting with the surrogate's family and my heart melted at how they both fell in love with little Max. I couldn’t help but want more scenes with him. AND I felt like once the babies were born the book just ended and we didn’t really get the conclusion I was looking for.
