Four years ago losing the love of my life almost destroyed me.
Years of being labeled and looked upon with disdain by everyone in my hometown almost wrecked me.
Four years ago I became a mother and together we were enough...Until I met him.
He wanted to rebuild my broken–I just didn’t know how to let him.
This is my story of how one man’s love changed everything I thought I knew about life, love and myself.
But in the end, can Levi Eddison prove to be my restoration?

Everything in my world changed the day Braunwyn Daniels walked into my pub.
She was a woman of many contradictions. I recognized the happiness and sorrow each fighting its way to the surface from deep within.
I was drawn to her immediately.
Behind her long legs, chestnut brown hair and beautiful eyes laid a damaged soul.
I needed to change that–I just didn’t know how.
This is my story of how I met a broken girl and vowed to make her whole.

And in the end, it turns out I knew nothing about true happiness until Braunwyn Daniels let me love her.
4 ½ out of 5 stars
Levi & Braunwyn are two of my favorite book characters this year! Their journey was such an amazing thing to read and be a part of. The secondary characters were just as inviting and loveable as these two and I can’t think of a book boyfriend I’ve loved harder than Levi for quite some time.
Braunwyn suffered a loss at a young age that I can’t even imagine and it caused her to shut herself off from the rest of the world. She had her grandma, her best friend and her daughter and that’s all the more she thought she needed in life.
Levi is the typical player. He doesn’t want to settle down. He doesn’t do commitment and he’s happy running his bar.
Their relationship wasn’t easy, but their fight to be together was definitely worth reading. Levi was more sure of things than Braun at first and his speech to convince her to try for more was sweet and everything I would want a guy to say to me:
“You’re my best friend, and now I need you to be more. I need you to be mine. You said that day at your house you ‘felt bad keeping me’, but fuck, Braun, I want you to keep me, cause damn baby, I wanna keep you--and Emmerson too--so much.”
I haven’t read the first book in this series, but after meeting Ryker in this book, I’m hoping to have time to remedy that very soon. He brought some funny stuff to this book and his relationship with Levi seemed solid. I am definitely eager to keep up with this author and hope many others will enjoy this book as well!

Note from the Author
Dear Reader,
Mental illness is a growing concern in our world today. On the Rocks is about surviving the aftermath of suicide, and believing in love again. Levi and Braunwyn’s love story is inspired by events that impacted the lives of people I care about deeply. With all of the research and ongoing concerns with mental health, I’ve decided to try and do something to bring awareness and light to this growing concern. I will be donating 10% of all pre-order and release week profits to Canadian Mental Health Association.
