If someone would have told me there was a fully
patched member of a one percent Motorcycle Club that read romance novels and
was a true romantic, I wouldn’t have believed them, but one sure existed.
I met him by chance one night when he ran out of gas
and rang my doorbell.
Covered in tattoos and muscles, he stood on my porch
asking for a favor. He was a Selected Sinner, a debt collector for drug
dealers, a criminal, a thug, and loved to fight. He was quick to draw his knife
and quicker to pull his gun. His temper was short, his beard was long, and he
was as handsome as any man I had ever seen.
To hear him talk about the lost art of love made my
legs go weak. I was sure he was a phony, a wannabe, a fake, and a player.
So I stuck around for a while to see if he was
exactly who he said he was.
And he took me for the ride of my life.
I’m Sienna, and I review romance novels. This is the
story of when I met the man who most women would describe as a unicorn.
I just called him Vince.

Before I get started with my review, I just want to commend Scott Hildreth on his skills to intertwine his characters in each of his books. He starts in the past and always works us up to the present. Each book is perfectly laced with when we meet the new characters on that timeline and what that character we are reading now thought of them.
This is one of my favorite books of 2015 this year. It had everything I look for as a reader to keep me flipping the pages like an addict, characters that I could connect with, funny as sin moments that had me crying with laughter, and swoon worthy moments that melted my heart.
I really debated messaging Scott Hildreth to ask him where in the hell he came up with Sienna Boyco’s character. Is she based off a muse, a good friend or how he sees some of us quirky reviewers? Because let me tell you Sienna freaking rocks! The opening chapter when Sienna gives her first review had me crying in stitches. This girl is a no holds bar reviewer. You beg for a review and by god, she delivers every time, even when she begs you not to make her post a review.
I don’t want to give too much away about one of my favorite scenes in the book, but just know I feel the same stinking way when I am left with one heck of a cliffy out of left field. If I know the author, I message them with a “what are you trying to do to me?!!!” If not I throw a mini tantrum and sulk because normally I know nothing about when the next book will arrive.
Seriously, if you are a reviewer or just a huge fan of Scott's, you will enjoy Sienna’s reviews. He did a remarkable job at keeping Sienna on point and full of life.
Besides Sienna’s reviewing skills, this girl is a riot. She digs Christmas music all year round for special reason, wears cute jammies she is not afraid to be caught in. And has one of those personalities you just cannot help but adore.
Okay, enough about my girl Sienna, you should get by now that I LOVE HER!
Let’s talk about sexy broody Vince Ames. This man’s looks alone would have most people running the opposite direction without giving him chance. He oozes the don’t screw with me vibe. And his job proves his attitude. But deep down this man is a teddy bear who just needed the right person to pull it out of him. He was charming, beyond smart, completely honest with everyone, and a true romantic. He just needed someone special to see past what he looked like on the outside.
The first time Sienna sees Vince was priceless.
“A big, rough, muscular, tattooed biker stood on my porch in his leather vest, jeans, and biker boots.
It was like Christmas in June.
I rubbed my drunken eyes with the tips of my index finger, blinked a few times, and continued to admire him from the privacy of my bedroom.”
Did I mention Vince was a mama’s boy? I cackled every time he visited his mom’s house and argued with her over her other son. When you read it, you will know why.
