Review::: Paisley (Alpha Marked #6) by Celia Kyle
Book: Paisley (Alpha Marked #6)
By: Celia Kyle
Release Date: February 2, 2015
Thirty and single? Well, getcha ass to the Gathering! Wait… what?
Paisley Twynham is over the whole werewolf thing. It’d been a shock to be magically kidnapped and plopped in the middle of a werewolf gathering. Then she got kidnapped a second time, had the crap beat out of her, escaped, and then met two men who are supposed to be her mates. Yup, all kinds of “over” the Gathering. Her only salvations are her sisters and… the two men she can’t help but drool over. Tall, muscular, sexy as hell, and for some reason, they want her fluffy ass. Maybe she doesn’t hate werewolves as much as she thought…
Chance and Hawkins don’t quite have a solid Warden bond. Hawkins is holding back while Chance is slowly reaching the end of his patience after ten years of partnership. The only woman who might save them is Paisley. Seductive, curvaceous, vivacious Paisley Twynham. She’s their Warden Born mate and Chance refuses to let Hawkins’ past stand in the way of their future.
But something else hides in their path that threatens to end their mating before it begins. Or rather, someone.

Well,
I did not think that Celia Kyle could top Scarlet or Whitney’s books. I was
wrong. So wrong. I absolutely loved this book. Like could not put it down until I finished
it. It is my favorite by far in the Alpha Marked Series. Celia added so much
depth to this plotline and I loved the twists and turns.
Everyone
knows I love the sexy alpha’s Celia creates, but these two were not just sexy.
They had fantastic back stories and were emotionally disconnected. Watching
Paisley breakdown their walls and work her way into Chance and Hawkins hearts
had me glued to the pages. I literally
could not put this book down.
Paisley
Twynham has been through hell when Chance and Hawkins finally find her. She doesn’t
want to listen to them, but after what she went through she realizes that they
are probably telling the truth. She instantly becomes protective of them even
if she doesn’t realize they are her mates.
In
this book we get to see the trio really connect. The guys have serious issues to move past and
Paisley is not sure if they ever will.
Chance
instantly connected with Paisley. I loved watching how he was with d her. He
loved her from the moment he realized she was his. He had made up his mind no
matter what she would be in his life.
“Hush they don’t
know everything. If I’m not hurting you, then I’d like to hold you. We’ve
fucked up, sweetheart. Lemme make it better.”
Chance
Hawkins
on the other hand had suffered a loss and was not sure he would ever recover. He
is older than Paisley and isn’t as secure as he wants everyone to believe. Paisley
was perfect in his eyes he just wasn’t sure he could let her or is partner in
fully.
Celia
gave us a few surprises I will not mention throughout this book. I am hoping
they are not just fun additions and that maybe just maybe this means we will be
receiving a few more alpha marked books in the future. {Gives Celia huge puppy
dog eyes}
Ex-dance teacher, former accountant and erstwhile collectible doll
salesperson, Celia Kyle now writes paranormal romances for readers who:
1) Like super hunky heroes (they generally
get furry)
2) Dig beautiful women (who have a few
more curves than the average lady)
3) Love laughing in (and out of) bed.
It goes without saying that there's always
a happily-ever-after for her characters, even if there are a few road bumps
along the way.
Today she lives in central Florida and
writes full-time with the support of her loving husband and two finicky cats.
Celia Kyle would like to rule the world and become a ninja. As a
fall-back, she’s working on her writing career and giving readers stories that
touch their hearts and *ahem* other places.
