Falling in love was the easy part…
For Talon Carver, the commanding and charismatic lead singer of the rock band 69 Bottles, life has never been better—or worse. His heart’s at a full 11 for Addison Beltrand, his feisty PR rep. But admitting it was a much different tune. The dilemma’s even more complicated when adding his other lover to the mix: Kyle Black, the band’s handsome, sweet and sexy manager. Why ruin a good thing, right? Things are pretty damn perfect for the trio—in and out of bed. But just when they find their best rhythm with each other, a rocky night in Minneapolis forces all three to reexamine their feelings—and take their relationship to new levels. But can love be enough? The band’s soaring popularity, along with the pressures of maintaining an unconventional relationship on a high-profile rock tour, start to take their toll. When Addison starts to fall apart, Talon and Kyle must come to terms with how important she is to them both. Can Addison find the strength to be their glue once more? What happens when the world goes on…but yours suddenly stops? When everything looks like it’s going to fall apart? Is love enough to bring Talon, Kyle, and Addison back to each other’s arms…and with it, the magic that true redemption can bring? ****Content Warning**** Sexy, naked, bisexual rock stars…and a lot more… This book contains, but is not limited to the following sexual content – reader discretion is advised - hot sex between two men and one woman. Kyle comes back and I lean into him, wrapping my hands around his arm, holding on for dear life. Kyle kisses the top of my head and my heart swells. No matter how bad he’s feeling, he doesn’t forget about me. We arrive at the restaurant and Talon argues with Mills about getting dinner, but Talon wins the argument and Mills escorts him inside. “I imagine social media is blowing up.” Kyle laughs, “He grew up close to here, it might not be that bad.” “I hope so.” I turn in my seat to look at him. “Are you feeling better?” He snorts. “No.” “You’re hiding it well.” “Good.” He leans over and kisses my forehead. “What’s freaking you out?” I ask bluntly. “Is this really the place for this?” I shrug. “You and I are eating in the bedroom. We’re going to talk, so we can either wait until then, or you can give me an indication so that I can figure out how to handle this with you. I don’t expect you to be all butterflies and roses when we’re done, but this, the way you are, it’s hurting me. I don’t like it, but I can’t let it go.” “What if I asked you to tell me what’s on your mind first?” I shrug, “If that’s what you think it will take to help you talk…” I let the thought trail off. “I guess I just need to know whether or not we’re sharing some of the same feelings and it might make it easier for me to tell you what I’m afraid of,” he says quietly, I can tell he’s afraid that he’s alone in his fears and that is far from the truth in this situation. “I’m scared because…” I take a deep breath, “because it’s all so fast, too fast. We’re barely beginning this journey together and now,” I can’t hold back the emotions anymore, “now we’re becoming a family. I’m terrified that you and Talon are going to realize that and bolt.” He shakes his head, sadness in his eyes. He opens his mouth to speak and I quiet him with my finger. “Please, I’ve started, don’t let me stop.” He nods his agreement. “I’m terrified that we’re testing the boundaries of our new relationship beyond what we’re ready for, what we’re capable of. That this is going to destroy whatever we have building between us. That it’s all too much for even me to handle, or process.” I wipe tears from my cheeks, “If you and Talon hadn’t been there or if I’d managed to do this on my own, finding out without you, I’m afraid I would have run away or that something is going to drive you both away from me.”

69 Bottles- Redeeming Kyle- Review

This is one HOT book! I mean smokin’ hot!

Zoey Derrick heated up the pages with this final installment of 69 Bottles. I think she loved driving her readers nuts with all the m/f/m, m/m/f and m/m steamy sexy scenes in this book!

I will admit I am a sucker for some hot m/m scenes. But what I loved most about this story was that the lead characters all pushed each other towards one on one time with each other. There was never any jealousy from Kyle, Talon, or Addison if two of them had a moment together. It was all about the bond all three of them shared together.

That close-knit bond was carried throughout the story. It didn’t matter if it was a hot steamy scene or a scene with them hanging out and relaxing. They all leaned on each other and supported each other no matter what.

There is only one reason I gave this story a 4 instead of a 5. For me this story moved slowly when it came to progression the first ⅔ of the book. We just moved a couple of weeks instead of a steadier time progression.  I did absolutely love that when Zoey moved us forward she wrapped the conclusion up nicely. She did not leave us hanging or wondering what was going to happen. I loved the ending!

Okay, I just reread the synopsis, it does not mention anything about what this story is about and I do not want to spoil this for the readers. So, I am going to keep the rest of my review light.

The lead heroine Addison Beltrand is one strong cookie. She knows her relationship with Kyle and Talon is anything but conventional.  She could care less what anyone else thought of her and her boys. As long as her boys are happy, she is happy. I absolutely loved that Talon and Kyle were her priority. She never flaunted her relationship in front of other but she also never hid it either.

This trio balanced each other nicely. Kyle is the calm laid back one who is constantly taking care of the other two. He researches things and wants to know everything about a subject. While Talon is the rocker who loves to party when he can. And Addison and Kyle know how he is. They also know that if they asked him not to he would. He is their bad boy.  While Addison is a mix of both. She loved a good party but also loved staying in.

This book was about Kyle Black and his reaction to what happened. Kyle hated himself for acting the way he did. He walked away. But in that moment he needed a break. He realized was the moment he left it was a mistake and regretted every second of it.

Kyle’s love for Addison and Talon was really sweet to watch.  When he realized that accept him for who he is flaws and all, it was huge for him. I turned a little mushy! Shhh.

Talon Carver is one hot rocker who loves is man and is woman. Talon treated Addison like a princess and always wanted her taken care of. He is a bad boy in the public’s eyes.  But behind closed doors he was a sweet lover and the glue that held the trio together in my eyes. When everything went down Talon stepped up. He admitted he was in over his head and he messed up a couple of times but the man kept trying for Addison. All he cared about was how she felt.

I loved the ending of this story so much. All three characters grew up and matured. We were able to sneak a peak of them in the future and how much things stayed the same yet had changed.

One of my favorite lines.

"We have no secrets, we have no lies. Everything between the three of us is real and it's raw."
