What he does not have on his mind is the woman that drives him crazy and makes him want to do stupid things, like throw caution to the wind.
Nope, not Linc.
At least, that’s the lie he tells everyone.
In reality, every time Conleigh’s name is mentioned, he squirms.
She’s everything that he wants, wrapped up in a cute little package that is stamped ‘hands freakin’ off.’
She’s four years younger than him, in school to be a doctor, and thinks football is stupid.
Even more, Linc and Conleigh get along like oil and water.
There’s not a single second that they’re in each other’s presence that they’re not at each other’s throats.
But all it takes is hearing that she’s in trouble for Linc to drop every single thing—football and MC duties alike—and head to her side.
A side that he’ll remain at until they either kill each other, or finally give into the heat between them.
Either way you look at it, he’s well and truly screwed.

This book gave me so many feels! If you follow Lani Lynn Vale books, you had previously met Lincoln James and Conleigh. They had been sprinkled through a few books and you just knew this book would be something special.
Seriously, ya'll!!! The way Linc James loved Conleigh made we swoon so darn hard! This man had it hard and wanted the entire world to know that he was in love with Conleigh. He would have sung it from the rooftops if Conleigh would not have throat punched him for it.
What made this book so special to me was Linc was a famous NFL player and a member of the Bear Bottom MC. Women threw themselves at the man daily and he could have cared less. The only woman in his eyes was the sassy girl who rocked his world when he was nineteen years old. He loved her and only her.
Conleigh loved Linc more than anything but she did not think she fit into his world or that he saw her the way she saw him. That is until the day he waltzes back into her world and knocked the breath right out of her. From that moment forward he would do anything for her to see him as more than friends.
Conleigh is a great leading lady. She had drive. She was sassy as sin and would do anything for anyone. This girl knew who she was and who she loved. She just did not realize her man loved her the way she loved him.
This is a great story about love and friendship. You cannot help but fall in love with the supporting cast. Conleigh fit in so well with the gang. Her bond with Hoax with great. I cannot wait to read Bayou and Hoax stories.
I must give a shout out to the Charmed references! I squealed and then giggled every time I read the girls names. They were such a great addition to the group. In my bones, I just know we will see more of the three of them!
