But all it takes is hearing that she’s in trouble for Linc to drop every single thing—football and MC duties alike—and head to her side.

A side that he’ll remain at until they either kill each other, or finally give into the heat between them.

Either way you look at it, he’s well and truly screwed.

One reason I loved this book so much is because I already knew both of the main characters from previous books and I loved how they grew up. I loved the people they became separately, but putting them together was genius level!!

Linc is a professional football player and member of the Bear Bottom Guardians MC. Conleigh is a nurse and step-daughter of Steel, member of the Dixie Wardens, MC. They aren’t strangers to each other. They’ve been in love with each other since they first met 8 years ago - though they were denied the chance to be together!

I totally adored Linc. He was everything I would want in an alpha male. His sweetness made me giddy. His protectiveness made me proud. His love made my heart jump. Conleigh was a great girl, too. She didn’t take anyone’s crap. She was great at her job. She didn’t try to deny when she needed protection.

I just love these books and can’t wait for the one where Bayou meets his love match! His quote in this book made me laugh out loud and I can’t wait to read all about the woman that brings him to his knees!!

“Gag,” Bayou grumbled and stood. “All of y’all fools falling in love around me. Just keep that s**t on your side of the fence for fucks sake.”
