Welcome to Panic, a sultry Miami nightclub where bodies and hearts move to a beat that doesn’t stop at sunrise—the setting for “a magnificent story full of deep emotion” (Sawyer Bennett).
Katherine: I thought I could enjoy a night out like a normal person. I thought I could handle the flashing lights, the pulsing music, the crowded dance floor. I couldn’t have been more wrong. After having an anxiety attack and passing out during my sister’s engagement party at Panic, I wake up in the arms of the hottest guy I’ve ever seen. Nick Moreno’s no gentleman. But he might just be the man I need to help me take control of my life.
Nick: When I hear there’s some random girl passed out in the back room of my family’s South Beach nightclub, I’m pissed. My dad’s already behind bars and we can’t afford any more bad press. But after giving her a lift—literally—back to her apartment, I stop seeing Katherine Wilson as some random girl. She’s gorgeous, vulnerable, and braver than she knows. And when we kiss, all I want to do is pull her close and promise that she’ll always be safe in my arms.
Lora's Review
4 out of 5 stars
This is only my second book by this author, but she is quickly becoming a favorite. She writes real stories that can carry over into real life. This story was so heart-wrenching at times I couldn’t tear my eyes away. My heart broke multiple times for poor Katherine and at the same time I could feel Nico healing both of us.
From the first encounter between Nico & Katherine at the club, you can feel their pull. He fights it and denies it for so long, but it’s there just playing on the surface. Nico’s determination to help her and to show her life outside her apartment really made me love him. He quickly became the ultimate book boyfriend. Katherine’s desire to get better made her such a strong heroine as well.
Multiple points in this book gave me chills as I read. Multiple times I felt as if the story was going to rip me open. And multiple times I wished I could re-read it for the first time. Overall this book was well written and the story is amazing. I hope many will check it out!

AUTHOR BIO
SA Today bestselling author, Sidney Halston lives her life with one simple rule: “Just Do It” Nike, and that’s exactly what she did. After working hard as an attorney, Sidney picked up a pen for the first time at thirty years old to begin her dream of writing. Having never written anything other than very exciting legal briefs, she found an outlet for her imaginative romantic side and wrote Seeing Red, among four other novels currently in the works, including the sequel to Seeing Red. That first pen stroke sealed the deal and she fell in love with writing.
Sidney lives in South Florida with her husband and children. She loves her family above all else, and reading follows a close second. When she’s not writing you can find her reading and reading and reading… She’s a reader first and a writer second.
When she’s not writing or reading her life is complete and utter chaos trying to balance family life with work, and writing (and reading). But she wouldn’t have it any other way.
