Book Blitz & Review::: Throwback by Zeia Jameson

by - 3:12 PM

Jeremy's goals were to work hard, be successful and make his mother proud.

Livy's goals were to separate herself from her past and keep people at a distance.

When Jeremy meets Livy, his priorities shift slightly - getting Livy to trust him becomes number one on his list.

Jeremy and Livy take a chance on each other and give a relationship a try. But when they come to a crossroads and want different things out of life, they struggle to figure out what to do next.

A mysterious gift from an anonymous source is the fate of their future. It'll help them remember why they started a relationship in the first place.

But will remembering the past be enough for Jeremy and Livy to overcome the turmoil of what their lives have become?

5 out of 5 shearts!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ms. Jameson caught me hook line and sinker at the 7% mark. I loved how taken Jeremy was immediately with Livy:

I’ve been sitting here less than five minutes and she’s only said like seven sentences to me. And not flirty sentences. There were just a few questions, some informational facts and I think a death threat. I shouldn’t be turned on right now. At the very most I should just feel better educated about beer and slightly worried for my life.

But this is the best thing about their relationship through most of the book. They’re just totally heads over heels with each other and they can’t get enough even without talking. It’s the sweetest, most romantic relationship I’ve read in recent times -- and I read A LOT!

And though it takes him some convincing when he finally takes her out, the dates are so great and the way he is so gentle and caring for her without requiring any background information. It all seems to be so perfect.

And poor Livy she is so closed off that she doesn’t even think she wants to date him once or twice much less fall in love with him. She doesn’t take too long to realize that everything with Jeremy is better than anything was before him:

His eyes are my Kryptonite and I can’t say no. I don’t want to say no because that kryptonite also warms my heart.

The Kryptonite makes me weak. But weakness doesn’t seem so bad in Jeremy’s presence.

Of course, nothing in life can be perfect forever. The way that Ms Jameson wrote the story out was totally believable and had me on edge just wanting them to figure their crap out and move forward because they were too perfect for each other to not stick it out. I felt like I was totally on the emotional roller coaster right there with Livy and Jeremy. I was cheering with them, crying with them and just hoping for the best outcome. I cried so many times while reading this book...there were a few sad tears and some tears from relief, but mostly tears of happiness that they were finding in each other what they had always hoped they’d find.

I loved the mystery of the relationship fix. I loved the family and friends we go to know. I loved Livy and Jeremy both. This book was definitely more than a 5 star read for me and I only hope that others will give it a chance and really enjoy it!!!!!
