Wow! This month’s edition was smokin’ hot! Author Audrey Carlan kept us on our toes. Every month I think she cannot beat last month’s story and she proves me wrong. I always think can she top last month’s book.

One of my favorite things Audrey does is give us a glimpse for someone from a previous book.  Whether it is Mia thinking of them or her receiving a text or call. I really hope in the end we get to see a few of them again. {coughs} I need to see Wes again soon!

Besides this month’s edition being filled yummy goodness.  We got to see Mia do a little sole searching and bonding with her baby sis.  I loved all the playful banter between Mia, Maddy, and Gin.  And Gin’s dirty mouth was great. That girl knows what she wants and goes after it.

Another favorite of mine was Mia meeting Tia Niko’s family. She needed to see a close family unit that loved one another. Learning Tia’s family heritage was good for Mia. Plus, Mia’s little chat with Masina. I will admit what Masina told Mia made me all giddy.

Now let’s talk about this Adonis of a man Tia Niko! I was drooling as Mia described him. Talk about a fine specimen of a man. Tall, dark skinned samoan with tattoos! Yes, please!  This man was gorgeous, had a sense of humor, manners, and knew how to treat a lady, making her feel like the only woman in the world. I loved when Tia would push Mia’s buttons to get her riled up. This man knew what he was doing.

Oh, and let’s not forget what this man could do behind closed doors… or other places.  Sweet mother of GOD. This man could drive any woman insane.  In the most delicious ways, that is.

I cannot wait to get my hands on next month’s edition and see how Mia holds her own with the evil politics of D.C. It is sure to be another great book!
