These are stories about choices - some that are out of our control and some that we don’t even realize we make - and how they impact our lives and those of the people around us.

The first two books concentrate on Riley and Keiffer (Rocket). Riley is a hockey protege. Keiffer is a street walker. They seem to have nothing in common except a love of the ice. I enjoyed watching them come together and solve the problems of the world. The 3rd book is all about Tommy Handsome who saved Keiffer from death while teaching him how to live on the streets.

I enjoyed all of the stories and felt like the author did a great job of telling the stories in a well-paced arc that kept me reading and kept the story flowing. Good writing with likable characters.
