At five o’clock in the morning, I dashed around in the kitchen of HOT & GLAZED, up to my ass in donuts. Usually, my sister prepared the goodies for our little bakery near downtown Denver, but Rachel was home sick, and that left me to take up the slack.

The hours of measuring, mixing, icing and baking had taken a toll. I was slaphappy. I’d just sculpted a lump of dough meant to be cinnamon buns into the shape of a gigantic penis.

I trailed my finger down its length and imagined the limp dough turning hard. It had been a long time since I’d had sex, way too long. The dry spell had put a strain on my bunny vibrator—enough to fry it last week. Worse, the bunny had stopped doing the hippety-hop before I was ready to say good night. The dough started to tilt. It was the Leaning Tower of Penis. I tried to hold it up but it went limp, then crashed. Flour flew everywhere. Disaster!

As I scraped the remains off the ten-foot-long, white, marble baking table, I heard someone knocking on the front door. Thunk! Thunk! Thunk!

I peeked around the corner from the kitchen to see who was there. The first thing I noticed was that someone had forgotten to turn off the “Open” sign. Crap. If I let customers in, I’d never get the baking done by opening time at six a.m.

Maybe if I ignored the knocking, the person would go away.

Thunk! Thunk! Thunk!

“All right, all right,” I muttered as I strode from the kitchen and went around the glass showcases that were half-filled with donuts, crullers, fritters and lemon curd Long Johns. By now, there should’ve been two trays in those cases of Rachel’s top-secret cinnamon-laced, gooey buns.

Crossing the customer area, I headed toward the male figure standing outside the glass door of the storefront. Outlined by the first rays of the breaking dawn, the guy was huge, at least six-five. He dwarfed five-foot-two, petite me.

Noticing his Stetson hat, I called out, “What’d you want, cowboy?”

OH. My. GOODNESS! This story is full of SEXY HOTNESS! I think I fanned myself multiple times while reading this story. Author Khloe Adams knows just how to get our motors humming with the short story. I absolutely loved it. It was full of sexiness and a little comedy sprinkled in throughout the story.

Miranda Hunter co-owns HOT & Glazed with her sister. She is all work and no play until sexy Aiden Knight demands she open up early for him. This tall sexy cowboy sends her hormones into over driver. Seriously, who can blame her! Aiden is 6’5, built like a god, and a total southern cowboy. His sweet words and tenderness is what pushes her.

I have to say Miranda's pervy mind had me rolling. I could totally relate to her in this story. Her masterpiece in the kitchen was perfect!

Aiden Knight is a HOT alpha male who is looking for something more. He normally does not go all out for a date. But everything about Miranda tells him he wants to have her in every way. I absolutely loved his persistence on taking her out. He was the perfect gentleman. I was absolutely swooning with everything he had planned for their date.

He shows Miranda a side of him most normally never gets to see. Every time Miranda’s mind drifts to leaving him on their date, he captures her attention and shows her why she should stay.

These two are so compatible and sexy together, if she can just get over her fear of dating a pro football player.
