Harrison and Rocky might be my favorite Max Monroe couple ever - and I know I say this just about every time they release a book, but this one really is on the top!!
The characters from Max Monroe always make me feel like they could be neighbors - other than the fact their all billionaires who live in NYC. :) I just mean that they are loveable, huggable, and also chokeable at times! Their relationships have the ups and downs, but they are so funny - while sometimes heartbreaking - that you can't stop reading. Just the secret thoughts and the proclamations of love. It's all so very much what I love reading!
Rocky's secret thoughts about Harrison crack me up throughout the book, but this one is one of my favs:
Harrison is a one-man lady trap. I'm fairly certain he'd be immensely successful if he decided he wanted to start a business venture in kidnapping. I mean, I certainly wouldn't suggest it, given the repercussions both physically and morally, but all the ladies would climb inside his van.
And Harrison's love for her is so dang charming:
"Yes. I demand that you let me love you forever."
How can someone not fall in love with a character like that?!?!
Overall, I can't help but rave about this book and hope that everyone else will enjoy it as well!
