Lani Lynn Vale has created this southern comfort good ole boy series. The Valentine men have values that I just cannot get enough of lately. These men have been through utter hell and still hold more self-worth and value for their community and loved ones than you would think possible.
Candy Ray Sunshine and Banks Valentine's book started with one of the best High School Senior pranks ever. I was rolling so hard I had tears. You can vividly imagine this scene and put yourself right into the story.
This book is riddled with heartache that will break you and have you feeling absolutely heartbroken for Candy and Banks. But Lani Lynn Vale keeps the humor flowing and we get a beautiful HEA and a couple that goes from frenemies to best friends and lovers. Their story is so beautiful.
Candy and Banks are two of my favorite characters that I have read this year. One-Click and fall in love with their story like I did.
