This was such a great book! Aurora Rose Reynolds always pulls me in with her writing style. Her characters are fun, developed and always leave me wanting more of them.
Seriously, when the heroine Chrissie first met Gaston, I was laughing. She was affected by how cute and dominant he was and put him in his place. One could not help but snicker.
Gaston aka Gus was a typical ARR hero with the dominance and the way he carried himself, but he was so sweet and tender with Chrissie. I loved how he pursued her and fought for her. He was not giving up on his girl.
Chrissie was such a great character to read. I loved her personality and the way she carried herself. She was cute and fun. Her life before and after Gus changed dramatically but she did not let it change who she was.
This is a sweet read that did not have tons of drama, but you did feel for the characters a few times throughout the read. I would recommend this book!
