Oh man, I had no idea I could read such a heartbreaking story and in the end finish it with a sappy smile on my face and a profound love in my heart! Ms. Martinez gave these characters - and me as the reader - quite the ride, but she did it with care and heart and everything a good romance novel needs.

Giving away too many details of the story will ruin it for anyone who hasn’t read it yet, but I can say that I 100% am glad I was able to read Cavin Hunt’s story and experience such a great love and passion. I can’t imagine that I will read another book this month - or even anytime soon - that will give me the same level of feels that this duet did.

I read this book in less than 24 hours because it was a story I couldn’t put down. It was an adventure and a roller coaster and a journey all its own. The characters were real. The story was heartfelt. The drama was enticing. I just can’t say enough about how much I loved this story!!!

Cavin and Hadley’s story was a page turner from the beginning and I am going to sit on the edge of my chair until the second book is out!! I can’t believe how well this author can put me in the story and make me feel like a part of everything that’s going on...and wish I could reach through and hug the characters. Both Hadley and Cavin gripped me heart and soul on multiple occasions through this story... and I didn't ever want it to end!!!

From their first encounter in a tragedy through their last encounter their story was heart wrenching and heart warming all at the same time. You wanted them to find themselves, but you wanted them to find each other, too. You experience their joys and their sorrows so completely that you feel like you just rode one heck of an emotional rollercoaster. You can’t help but smile and you can’t help but cry as you read. It’s definitely something you have to experience for yourself so much more than I could ever get out in a review.

I can’t get over the ending and I can’t wait for the story to continue. This author does duets so very well that you can’t help but be so invested in getting that second book! I will eagerly await the conclusion of Hadley & Cavin’s story!!!
