This story captured me from the beginning. Nick’s story was heartbreaking even if he didn’t see it at first. I wanted to throttle his parents from the very beginning, but I was thankful he had a friend like Killian. And then when Liv left him with just a note, it broke my heart for him again.

I loved the flow of this story. I liked how there was never a dull moment and it was intriguing enough to keep me flipping thru the pages throughout the book. There wasn’t really a point in the book where I felt like it wasn’t helping tell the story. Olivia wasn’t always easy to like, but the circumstances made it understandable. Nick was adorable and I just wanted to reach thru my Kindle and guide him a little since he’d never really had a guiding force behind him.

I loved the way Nick used fairy tale language to make Olivia see the real him...and Olivia’s one drunken night of princess naming was the funniest part of the book. The best friends (Killian, Giselle, and even Celeste) helped make the story that much better. AND I can’t wait for the next book!!!
