Though the story was almost formulaic as far as alpha-male romances go -- neither was looking for a dating life, both were invested in their careers, and they both had strong personalities -- I totally got lost in this story and couldn’t wait to see what came next for Heaven & Nash.

Now, there were times when I wanted to strangle Heaven. She kept sending Nash away because it was the right thing to do. It was the better thing to do. BUT she kept regretting it. I just wanted to reach in the novel and shake her and ask what she wanted, not what she thought she needed. So many times she just drove me crazy, but once things calmed and she accepted a few things, I found her much more enjoyable.

Nash was the typical billionaire boyfriend. He likes control in all things and yet he gives up so much of it to be with Heaven...even when they’re not together. He fights like hell to win her heart and then fights like hell to keep it.

This novel had some unexpected twists and turns. The villains weren’t who you were expecting and the story didn’t go where you thought it might. Heroes came in different forms than one would expect and the story was just suspenseful enough to keep me reading way past my bedtime. I loved how Ms Rogers created suspense and brought her characters to life in a way that makes them hard to forget!
