Nate & Olivia are two characters that took me some time to get into their minds and really experience their feelings. Seeing their breakup in the first chapter made me so sad for Nate. All I wanted was for him to find happiness and I was sure I wouldn’t care at all what happened to Olivia. Yeah, that’s not how it worked out...though I don’t want to give anything away so just go read it yourself!

I love M. Clarke. I have read several other books by her, but this one was harder for me to get into. It might be because I just read the most amazing book and tried to dive right into this one and should have waited longer to give me time to get over the other one. It might be that these characters were not engaging for me at first, BUT the truth is that eventually I found myself cheering for Nate & Olivia both.

This book is a great continuation for the Knight series and I am so thankful to have had the chance to read it. Looking forward to seeing what’s next.
