TITLE: FORBID ME
AUTHOR: M. ROBINSON

It was only a matter of time until the truth came out.
I never thought it would come to this…
I tried, God knows I tried to stay away from her but eventually I crossed that line and broke that trust. I could no longer go back and I sure as fuck didn’t regret a single moment of it. I knew there would be hell to pay, I knew the wrath I’d be facing but I would willingly take the burns and scars just to have the love of my best friend's sister.
If there is one person I’d willingly go to hell and back for it was…

Lillian Ryder

This booked consumed me completely. That should have been this books name. CONSUMED ME. It left me with a book hangover deluxe. I could not get enough of M. Robinson’s writing. The way she kept moving us forward while giving us flashbacks to explain why her characters felt the way they did was absolute genius.

I sighed each time we bounced back to present, knowing I was about to get more of Jacob and Lily’s sexual tension that was off the charts. I loved it! And when they finally gave into their feelings. Holy Batman! Talk about fireworks. So freaking good!

Forbid Me is one of those books you finish and instantly want to go back and reread it.  You cannot handle the story is over and pray one day M. Robinson gives you more. Lucky for us this is part of a series so we will get future glimpse of them. But it won’t be enough for me. I WANT MORE… NO I NEED MORE!

Jacob Foster has known Lillian Ryder aka Kid since the day she was born. Her brother was his best friend since they could walk and talk. The only problem is that Jacob is 7 years older than her. Always feeling guilty that he felt something more for Lily.

Watching Jacob care for Lily and always wanting to make sure, she was okay had me swooning. The age difference really bothered him.  I hated that he hated himself for loving her that way. The way M. Robinson describes his turmoil over this issue had me feeling his pain with him.  The entire book I was rooting for him!

Just turning the lights on for her had me sighing. Such a sweetie even when he wasn’t trying to be.

Jacob turned into one sexy alpha that knew what his girl wants and needed. He has no qualms in slowly tantalizing her to death to make her squirm. Jacob really was a lion stalking his prey when he finally set his sights on getting his girl back.

“My home is where you are.”
“Are you trying to make me cry? I’m going to cry in my spaghetti.” ← I would too Lily.

And this one here just did me in. I swear, Jacob owned my heart after this.

I was blinded by her.
Consumed by her.
Wrecked by her.
She owned every part of me, right down to my soul.
I. Loved. Her.

This story would have never succeeded if Lily Ryder would not have been such a spitfire. This girl could go toe to toe with anyone, including Jacob.  He was her kryptonite that would weaken her resolve slowly but she could hold her own with him.  And I loved every second of her pushing him and letting him know that she was a woman and could and would do what made her happy.

Lily’s I don’t give a crap what anyone thinks about us attitude was just what Jacob needed to realize what was most important to him. That going through the motions sucks when your light is not with you.

“I’d love to sit here and process how your delusional mind works, Jacob, but I can’t get my head that far up your a**.” ← See what I mean! I freaking loved her.

And Lily’s saying that they were lobsters and lobsters mated for life was perfect. Lily knew just how to wreck him.

There is one part of this book with Jacob and Lily’s mom that absolutely wrecked me. It was beautiful and perfect and that is all that I will say about it.  Just perfection to me.

I am ready for the next book now.  Maybe it will help me mourn the loss of this one being over.

“Is that right?” I replied arrogantly, centimeters from her lips. “I don’t know you? Really? What part don’t I know? Maybe I don’t know the way you move your hair to cover the side of your face when you’re nervous. Or maybe I don’t know how you bite your bottom lip when you’re deep into your strings. Or do you mean that I don’t know the way you freak out if it’s too dark in a room and you won’t walk in? Or maybe I don’t know that you bite your fingernails when you think no one is looking. Oh wait, here’s a good one. I don't know that you're trembling in your skin right now. I don’t know that your heart is beating a million miles a minute, your hands are clammy, and you can’t swallow. How there are hundreds of thoughts going through your mind, but the top one being how bad you want me to kiss you. How bad you want me to fuck you. How bad you want me to claim every fucking inch of your perfect body,” I paused to let my words sink in, and her flushed complexion gave away that everything I was saying was true.
“You’re right. I don’t know you. I don’t see your gorgeous smile in my sleep. I don’t hear that ridiculous giggle you have when I’m away from you. I don’t see those dark brown eyes every time I close mine.” I leaned in a little closer so she could feel my breath against her lips. “I don’t stroke my cock to the memory of your sweet pussy pulsating down my shaft and the taste of your come dripping down my chin.”
