RELEASE DAY BLITZ :::April by Audrey Carlan
Title: April
Series: Calendar Girl #4
Author: Audrey Carlan
Release Date: April 29, 2015
Synopsis
Baseball, beer, and a hot boy. Nothing can beat that. Until I meet Mason “Mace” Murphy the next “it” pitcher for the Boston Red Sox and my client. He’s immature, arrogant, sexy as sin, and the last man that’s going to get into my panties. He’s not used to hearing the word no from women, so I’m going to spell it out for him.
N = Not going to happen.
O = Out of your league buddy.
I was hired to cuddle up to the annoying, beautiful athlete, and give prospective advertisers and fans a different view of this hot-shot professional baller.
Only he’s everything I detest in a man all wrapped into a dream package. Baseball player, talented, athletic body, sculpted face, and ass you can bounce quarters off of. Unfortunately, he also believes he’s God’s gift to women, a man-whore, throws money around like it grows on trees, and conceited. The challenge for him, to break down my defenses and get in there. My challenge, avoid hopping in the sack with him at all costs.

Every time I think this series cannot get any better Author Audrey Carlan proves me wrong. I am completely addicted to this series. I cannot get enough of Mia Saunders and her journey of self-discovery! She may have been forced into this situation but she is finding her way. This girl has learned to network like no other and have fun while doing it.
This book had my emotions all over the place as Mia tried to work through her feelings. I think she has realized she loves Wes and has to process how she will continue her job while working through her feelings.
I will say hunky baseball player Mason “Mace” Murphy had me growling and laughing throughout this book. One minute I wanted to give into him and the next, I was calling him a pig. By the end, I realized I had misjudged him. Mase knew deep down what he always wanted but needed Mia to help him see the light and find his way.
The way Mia handled Mace was perfect. She has really grown up throughout this series. She knows she has a task to do and does it. I have loved how she has become a little cupid herself the past two books. She wants everyone to have love even if she does not know if it will ever be in the cards for her.
I think one of my favorite parts of this book is when she went to sit with the wives and girlfriends at her first ball game. She handled the venom-throwing girlfriends with pose just like a professional. She won them over and became one of the girls in no time at all.
One of my favorite things about this series is that Mia never lets the jealousy and snide comments get to her. She figures out what buttons to push back and does it with finesse.
I must say I loved seeing Frenchie again!! He always has me smiling and groaning with his dirty mouth!
And my man Wes who I am still rooting for until that very last book broke my heart this time. He is just as lost as Mia trying to figure this all out. He wants to be with Mia but also has ‘needs’ and I think is a little hurt she will not just come to him.
Wes’s text messages to Mia are always so sweet and heartfelt. I just want Mia to hop on a plane and use her Key!
