I love this hockey team and all of the amazing characters that have been brought out for us to enjoy. Ten and Jared were the original couple and bringing them back for this novella was perfection!! They are ready for a baby and getting there is portrayed so well in this story. BUT the real heart of the story comes with the other characters as well. Visits from all of our favorite guys!
Perhaps my favorite is Stan. Stan is a loveable Russian who is a best friend we would all love to have! From Pokémon to babies, they have a perfect best friend relationship. This conversation really made me smile:
"Hey, Stan, thanks, man. Talking about it with you, well it helped."
He smiled down at me. "You are welcomed. What are best friends for if not to make a dark day sunny with pretzels and goat talk?"
