This story is so cute. It’s sweet and sexy and downright dirty at times. It wasn’t the typical romance trope and that’s one reason I liked it more than the others. Tate isn’t your typical Hero and Hennessy isn’t a whiny heroine who will just take what’s handed to her -- unless it’s coming from her father and then she lacked backbone - but for good reason!

Watching them develop a relationship was cute because you could feel the chemistry seeping through the Kindle and their looks and actions towards each other could only lead to them being together.

I enjoyed this book just like I do every book by this author, but I especially liked that it wasn’t the same pattern as her others. I usually know what to expect when reading one of Ms. Vale’s books, but this time I knew the drama almost from the beginning, though there were still the surprises and moments in the story, it wasn’t a “jump scare” that was the big development.

I can’t wait for the next installment of this series -- or really anything from Ms. Vale. She never disappoints!
