I was so happy to get the conclusion of this story. Inhibitions really brought me to love these characters and left me worrying about what was going to happen. I spent a lot of time reading this book not liking certain characters at different times and really finding a strong HATE relationship for Melissa, Tanner’s former friend with benefits.

This story was hard for me because Ashley found herself in a place where she didn’t want to be and Tanner left her there alone in the beginning. But then when things were really bad for Ashley, she refused to let Tanner back in to help. Tanner didn’t take no for an answer though. He came and did everything he could for her despite her hatred of him and the way she acted towards him.

The emotions in this book were so strong from the very beginning. I loved reading more from Tanner’s POV in this book.

It’s hard for me to write this review without spoilers so I’m just going to say that I really enjoyed the conclusion to Ashley and Tanner’s story and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a second chance romance with some definite drama involved.

Kimberly is a stay at mom of four crazy beautiful children. She lives in New Jersey with her husband of ten years and enjoys every minute of her never dull life. She loves a good book that is impossible to put down and you will mostly likely find her reading in her downtime, unless of course, there is a football game on.

Ashley and Tanner are an unlikely pair, but Tanner’s sweet talking and persistence pulls Ashley in and she is able to help him in ways that others couldn't and have refused.

The “extras” in this book are also great characters! Ashley’s best friend, Quinn, is the best friend I think everyone wishes they had. She’s outspoken, even abrasive, but she also loves with everything she has. Tanner’s best friend Alex is almost exactly like Quinn -- and they find something in each other that Ashley and Tanner don’t even know about.

There were many quotes in this book that really told the story for me. Ashley is coming off a bad break up - witnessing her boyfriend with another woman in her house - and Tanner is anti-relationships, but somehow they still find something in each other worth going after. One of my favorite quotes is from Tanner and literally made me swoon.

“Let go, baby,” he says. “I’ll catch you.”

I was crazy at the end and couldn’t wait to get my hands on the next book - which luckily is now available, too.

On a different topic, my first note in this book was that the “f” word is used a lot so if you’re easily offended by that, this book may not be for you...however, the story and characters in this book will really grab you and pull you in so that you can’t leave. Prepare yourself!
