This paranormal anthology was great from start to finish. Each author brought their own originality to the table and captivated me. The unique twists and turns the ladies added to their stories were fantastic! I looked forward reading more from each one of them.

If you would like a well-written anthology, you can get lost in for a day this is your book! I could not put this book down. I had to stop and take a breather after each story. It was a fun and fascinating read.

I think I will start with the first story and work my way down the list. This way I can give each author my attention for just a moment.

Spirit of the Wolf

What a way to start an anthology!

This book grabbed by attention from the very beginning. I knew something was up Asia and her possessive boyfriend. Then author Andrea Stanet added Nati to the mix and things really became interesting. She was drawn to Nati but did not know why at first. Nati was not your regular girl ext door. What I loved most about this story is that none of the characters ended up being what I thought they would be.

The twist and turns are not like your average shifter story. It was filled with many layers you had to uncover. Author Andrea Stanet brought originality and broke the mold with this one. I cannot wait to read more from this author.

Eternal Guard

This story starts causing your heart to race when Farren is standing on the bridge. I had to know what broke Farren. When Joe saves her I thought. Oh, boy another brooding vamp story. But nope. Author Tina Smith kept her story original and on target with her characters!

The moment Farren realized Joe was protecting her from another dangerous vampire but kept her at arm’s length pissed her off. He would pull her close and then push her away. He would not let himself love her. And that was okay, he taught Farren to be strong and protect herself and that is just what she ended up doing. Farren goes from being broken and scared to grabbing life by the horns and creating her own destiny.

And the ending has me wanting to know what Farren is up to!

Into The Dark

I loved this story!! It was well written and captivating. It is my favorite of the five. Author Laurie Treacy grabbed me hook line and sinker. The picture she paints when she opens you up to the word of the fae was amazing. I could visualize each little detail.

I devoured this this story and want more of Holly Barclay and Hallacon ‘Lacon.’ The humor the author adds to this story had me rolling. Holly’s inner thoughts and rambles had me in stitches.

Holly aka ‘Holly Berry’ has to not only learns that the fae world exists but she finds herself smack dab in the middle of it. She is fascinated by what she has discovered once the sheer shock subsides.

I want to go to the summer court where he lives and nosy around. I hope the author continues this story one day. I would love to read more about these two.

The Unspoken Truth

This story was full of mystery and suspense. The way she describes what Lena goes through each and every day being able to communicate with the dead made my heart hurt. This woman solves the unsolvable cases so the spirits can rest. But when the abuse one of the victims receives affects her physically my heart was racing for her to find out why.

The love Lena and Jackson share throughout this story brought just another element to the mix. He was supportive and did not give a damn what anyone thought as long as Lena was safe.

Author Lee Ryder leads us down a rabbit hole and has us running to the end so we can figure out what really went down all of those years ago.

Spinning Scars

This story had me bouncing when I realized Matthias was Frankenstein. I loved reading a book about Frankenstein. Then you add Ruby to the mix and Bam! Perfection. This girl was full of life, feisty, and threw Matthias for a loop. He wanted to know more about her but he did not want to feel heartache again. The creativity with how Ruby would end up in Mattias’s world whether he wanted to have her there or not surprised me. I really hope that author Alexia Purdy decides to write more about these two.

Author Alexia Purdy was so creative with this story. The detail and thought she put into everything kept me flipping the pages to the very end.
