From the moment I read the blurb, I was hooked. I had to know how this book ended. Let me tell you a secret, it did not disappoint either. It was a great second chance romance that was heartbreaking and sweet all that the same time.
Aubrey is left devasted when her best friend and husband Gabe past away. Little did she know Gabe did something for her and called in an old friend. Someone he knew Aubrey had a crush on in high school. Denver.
This second chance love story broke my heart and was so sweet at the same time. I devoured this book in one sitting. I just had to know how Aubrey and Denver's story ended.
Denver has loved Aubrey since they were kids and comes home to help her with whatever she may need. He was the should she needs to cry on. The person she calls if she needs anything. That constant. What she does not realize is that she is in love with him. She cannot admit it to herself.
That is until years later Denver makes his move and pushes her. I loved the push and pull. Her running and him slowly stalking his girl. He knew her better than she knew herself. Then the moment he was about to throw in the towel she surprised him. There love just made so much sense. It was the sweetest second chance romance.
Aurora Rose Reynolds always writes amazing love stories, but I think this one is my favorite of hers so far to date.
