This novel kept me engaged from beginning to end and I couldn’t help but find myself in love with both Simon and Chloe. I felt bad for both of them and the circumstances that were keeping them from 100% being together. I felt great watching their relationship grow and change. I swooned when Simon would melt Chloe with just a few simple words.

I love how much Chloe is in love and lust with Simon. How much she just can’t get enough even with a deadline on their time together, she finds herself enamoured with him:

God, he took my breath away. Every time i was around him, he seemed to become more attractive. Lickable. Kissable. Huggable and lovable and a slew of other ---ables I couldn’t express with more than a whimper.

The greatest feelings came when Simon came to peace with his situation and how he was going to handle it going forward. This novel was so well told and I’m loving the people of Luminous and can’t wait to see who comes next.
