Jackson Steele is my new favorite book boyfriend!! Who could deny his love-ability when he immediately takes responsibility for his 6 year old son that he didn’t even know existed?!

From the first page of the book, before the prologue, I was sure this book was going to be great. Ms Jolin leads with a passage from Bob Marley and I promise if you read it, you’ll have to read the whole book, too.

Kennedy isn’t the typical female lead either. She’s fighting demons for sure, but she’s fighting and not letting them win. I love her OCD tendencies and just about busted a gut the first time she was in Jackson’s house.

Of course, you can’t have a swoony book boyfriend like Jackson and not have a few great quotes, right? Well, my favorite is this one that he says as Kennedy has her forehead pressed against his preparing to tell all her demons:

“The safest place for you to share the things that haunt you is in my arms. I got you, babe.”

I love Ms Jolin’s writing style and I love her character development. I love how her characters love with all they have and give everything to those they love. I couldn’t recommend a better series if you want to enjoy passion and love in a way that seems totally possible in this real world!!

Hey y’all,

I was born and raised in Ladner, a small farm town just outside Vancouver, Canada. I grew up riding horses, shooting guns, and driving in trucks.
